Why I'm building this

Caleb Zimmermann. Worked alongside his dad. Runs The Stable Company by day.

Excited you're here. Let me tell you why I'm building this.

I grew up watching my dad build companies. Healthcare software, mostly. I saw the kitchen-table decisions, the payroll weeks, and eventually the exits. Later I got to work alongside him. So I know what it means to carry the family name into work every day.

Watching those exits up close taught me something I couldn't shake: money and mission pull at each other. Hard. My dad navigated it better than most. But I wanted to know how other people who love Jesus think about that tension while they're running a business.

So I went looking for them. And honestly, it turned into a bit of an existential search. What I found was a scattered ecosystem. A breakfast group here, a cohort there, a group text somewhere else. Amazing people, mostly building alone. You can stand in church on a Sunday surrounded by people and still be the only one in the room who knows what a payroll week feels like.

In 2025 I started getting Twin Cities owners who love Jesus in the same room once a month. Coffee, no dues. Its been a blast.

But a room once a month doesn't help when you're stuck on a hire on a Tuesday and the person who made that exact hire last year is across the river and you have no idea.

Then it clicked. The tech world is already building AI connectors that introduce founders to each other. Nobody is building one for us. That was the unlock.

So that's what Red is. A friend who knows everyone and asks before introducing. You text Red what's stuck. Red finds one or two people who've been there. Nobody sells.

My dad is the model for the other end. He built and sold companies, and now he just loves hearing the ideas. He also sets his own limits, which is the whole point.

Anyways - thats the short version. I would love to have you on the thread. Ask for an invite! Zero pressure if the timing's wrong.

The other stewards, and maybe you

A few people who host gatherings across the Twin Cities help decide who gets in. Their faces go here when they say yes. If you host a gathering of owners like this, ask for an invite and say so.
